Sales and Use Tax Return Filing Deadline Extended for Businesses Impacted by Hurricane Ida.
Regarding the ongoing State of Emergency caused by Hurricane Ida, the following parishes will consider requests for extensions to file and remit local sales taxes for the period of August 2021 on a case-by-case basis.
Please contact the respective local sales tax collector for a determination: Jefferson, Terrebonne, Lincoln, Union, Rapides, St. Mary
The following parishes will also consider requests for extensions to file and remit submitted in writing: St. Charles, Lafourche, Morehouse, & St. James
