Amanda Granier

Amanda Hebert Granier, the Sales Tax Collector for the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, is employed by the Lafourche Parish School Board.  She began this position in November 2011.  Amanda has been an active member of the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators (LATA) since January 2012, served as the 2022 President, and in 2025 is serving as the Vice-President of the Association.  She previously served as a Board Member for this Association since January 2017 and has served on various committees since November 2011.  She currently serves as the appointee to Louisiana Uniform Local Sales Tax Board and the Sales and Use Tax Commission for Remote Sellers for the Louisiana School Board Association.  She has served in this capacity since November 2019.  Prior to her appointment, she represented the LA School Board Association’s Executive Director on the Uniform Local Sales Tax Board from April 2018 through October 2019.  

Amanda is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana.  She is a 1994 graduate of Thibodaux High School and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University, in 1998.  She obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University – Shreveport with a concentration in Data Analysis in May 2021.
