Clarence Lymon

CPA – Executive Director, Louisiana Uniform Local Sales Tax Board

Clarence currently serves as the Executive Director of the Louisiana Uniform Local Sales Tax Board (August 1, 2022).  Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of New Orleans (February 2020 August 2022).  In addition, Clarence served the Louisiana Department of Revenue as the Undersecretary and was originally appointed to this position from 2004-2012 and 2016 to 2020.  Clarence served the Department of Revenue in several other roles including Assistant Secretary, Director of Field Audit Services, Audit Manager (Houston District Office) and Field Auditor.

Clarences career in State Government spanned over 34 years and he possesses a wealth of subject-matter knowledge in various tax types and operational expertise.  

Clarence holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University and is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Louisiana.
